Kerchief was inspired from the sweet little botanically dyed skeins from fibre artist Bonnie Lefebvre of Raveled Sleave. I wanted a bandana or kerchief-sized shawl that could be doubled-over for extra layers, tied around my head or wrapped around my neck for an extra layer of warmth without the added bulk of larger scarves and shawls. This is a fabulous pattern to showcase some favourite single skeins or to destash.

NOTES
- For pattern support, please email wolfandfaunknits@gmail.com
- For jogless stripes, consider using this technique from Stephen West or another preferred jogless stripe technique.
- I used a 60 cm / 24” circular for my magic loop, and as stitches increased, I transitioned away from the magic loop and into the standard working in the round. If you select a longer circular needle length, you may or may have to continue the magic loop method.
- Gauge and tension will affect the yardage of the yarn. Due to variations in personal knitting, and to avoid a game of yarn chicken, I recommend gathering more than enough yarn to complete the project in case you end up needing slightly more. I typically make sure I have 10% more yarn than the pattern calls for to make up for waste yarn or needing more due to my personal gauge and tension.
As always, instructions are in written and chart when applicable. The pattern has been tech-edited and tested.
